Athletes are focusing a lot on their specific sport rather than getting a more rounded, functional and stabilized posture with supporting muscles to be the most physically efficient in all movements.
There is a lot of cheating going on in the gym and in training routines. Often the sportsperson is concentrating on movements in the weight room and not the demands needed outside of the weight room. The body gets tired, fatigue sets in and movements are not executed correctly and this is exactly when an injury occurs.

Strength conditioning coaches let their athletes train the body in isolation, focusing on building bigger and stronger muscles without a purpose. Training in isolation or repeating the same movement patterns all the time doesn’t get the body more efficient in sustainable power output. Power output is so limited without good foundation. Instead of seeing purely muscles in isolation, we now recognize more integrated movement patterns that show how we actually create movement.
